From Poshmark to Shopify
Share
When I first started selling online, Poshmark was my go-to. It’s an amazing platform with a strong, supportive community, and I’m incredibly thankful for the experience it gave me. Over time, I started to feel limited — creatively and in terms of what I could offer my customers.
The idea of switching to Shopify was honestly a little scary. Starting something new, especially when you’ve built comfort and familiarity somewhere else, can feel overwhelming, so I did my research. I spent countless hours watching videos, reading blogs, and soaking up as much information as I could. The more I learned, the more confident I felt that this was the right move for me.
I wanted more control — the ability to design, build, and truly create a space that reflected me and my brand.
Shopify has unlocked a whole new side of my creativity. From building the website from scratch to curating collections and crafting the look and feel of everything — it’s all felt incredibly personal and fulfilling. I finally have the freedom to shape my store exactly how I’ve always envisioned it.
Another important factor in my decision was pricing. While Poshmark is a great platform, its fee structure sometimes made it challenging to offer the kinds of deals I wanted.
With Shopify, I pay a monthly fee to run my store, and the transaction fees tend to be lower, which allows me to keep more of each sale and pass those savings on to you with better prices and exclusive drops.
That said, I’m keeping my Poshmark shop active for anyone who prefers shopping there. Please note that pricing may vary between platforms due to differences in fees and selling structures. For the best deals and exclusive drops, you’ll find them here on my Shopify site.
Thank you for being a part of this journey. I can’t wait to keep growing and creating with you.
